NEW!  DP-12 Lower Picatinny Safety Rail

Under the stress of an emergency situation a lot of stress can be put on the slide’s vertical grip. The DP-12 has a plastic Picatinny rail on the bottom of the slide and the stress on a small portion of the plastic rail during the cycling operation can cause a break in the material. This can cause a dangerous situation.

SMT Tactical is happy to now offer a solution that may just solve this problem. The SMT Safety Rail absorbs the force of the racking action, eliminating the possibility of a broken rail.

Machined from a billet of 6061 Aircraft grade aluminum, this rail is strong yet lightweight, adding safety without adding weight to the fore end of your shotgun. After the CNC machining process the rail is given a hard coat Black Anodize per MIL-A-8625F, Class 2, .001” penetration (60 Rockwell Hardness).

The SMT Safety Rail replaces the existing plastic slide by simply removing the two screws and changing out the rails, and replacing the vertical grip. The SMT Safety Rail is the same length as existing lower rail keeping the shotgun’s profile the same.

Price: $28.50 Shipping Free in U.S.
(This price good for orders placed on our Web store only.  International customers please contact us for shipping cost.)

Simply detach the vertical grip and then there are only two screws to extract and replace to change the rail. A 5 minute job.
